- Recognize improved results from centers that have formally implemented enhanced recovery protocols based on international guidelines.
- Identify which elements of enhanced recovery guidelines they are already incorporating in their practice and which can be improved.
- Comprehend recommendations for improving patient education.
- Propose protocols for additional surgical procedures at their facility.
- Apply recommendations regarding auditing processes and outcomes, including patient reported outcomes.
- Implement the components of multi-modality pain management.
- Discuss how disruptive technologies have changed the way that enhanced recovery protocols are delivered.
- Describe how the enhanced recovery protocols will look like in the future.
